The Magpie River sits hidden just above Sept Illes, Quebec. Accessible only by float plane, this gem of a river boasts 55 kms of adventure whitewater at a safe, but exciting Class III to IV average. There are a good number of Class IV-V+ sections as well as one or two unrunnable sections. The backdrop to this river is unspoiled wilderness featuring breathtaking rolling forests, towering waterfalls and unabashed wildlife.
